Harry Weisbrod Fellowship Fund

What is it? The Harry Weisbrod Fellowship Fund seeks to provide seed money to encourage our members to develop new perspectives and strategies as they work to improve the Union through projects and training.

How much? The NCFLL will provide up to four $750.00 Fellowships per year.

For what can I use fellowship money? Fellowship recipients may undertake projects and training on labor subjects that will contribute to the good of the NCFLL, and its constituent Locals, to include labor/management relations, representation, administrative skills development, labor history, technology etc. Projects are limited only by the imagination of the applicant. Training may be completed at institutions of higher education, at Union training sessions and at sessions provided by private contractors.

Are there any conditions placed on fellowship recipients? Prior to reimbursement, fellowship recipients must agree to provide copies of project results (if any are developed) or a 100 word report on the training that they completed. The results and reports may be used by the NCFLL in the Courier, at www.NCFLL.org, or to publicize the fellowship to other potential applicants.

How do I apply for a fellowship? See the attached form.

Who is Harry Weisbrod? Harry Weisbrod was the first President of the National Council of Field Labor Locals.
